Experiences in Spec Ops The Line

According to STEAM, Sepc Ops The Line is a "Third-Person modern military Shooter designed to challenge players' morality by putting them in the middle of unspeakable situations." So that STEAM quote is a bit dramatic.  After all, it's a video game.  However, for those gamers able to think, it is a little thought provoking.  The plot of story is somewhat like the movie Apocalypse Now... only in a different setting.

Cooperative Mode: Spec Ops The Line has a two player cooperative mode and four mission maps (not a campaign).

Single Player: Offers a whole lot more than the coop mode.  So, this "Experiences in..." is covering the SP Campaign Mode unless noted otherwise.

Game mechanics and game graphics: While not groundbreaking, neither are bad by any stretch of the imagination.  In fact, they seem very competitive among the mid-range games made between 2011 - 2014.  Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier is an excellent measure of Spec Ops The Line.  Although I'd recommend Ghost Recon Future Soldier over Spec Ops The Line in terms of game mechanics. However, many graphical aspects and animations are about the same. The Spec Ops plot and story is superbly executed and superior it every way.

Controls:
The controls are a bit weird because one key may perform multiple functions.  For example, the space bar toggles healing, picking up ammo and melee attacks.

Price: At the time of this writing, $30 is the regular price on this STEAM game.  I bought two copies on a STEAM Flash Sale.  Actually, I'd say it is worth a maximum of $10 - $15 because there is no significant replay value.
