Experiences in Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Post  AKMARK5000 on Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:22 pm

Ghost Recon Future Soldier features a full-length story campaign for single player mode. You can also shoot through the same campaign with your buddies in a 4-player cooperative mode.  In co-op mode, I want to mention that the story is not fully narrated.  So, the details of how each mission is completed is up to you and your teammates.

Not that you are given the best high-end weaponry right away... no, no, no... those are earned or dolled out a little bit at a time as you progress through the missions... that kind of thing keeps players interested in pushing forward rather than quitting early.

You can buy Ghost Recon Future Soldier on STEAM, but it ultimately requires a UPLAY account. UPLAY is UBISOFT's so-called equivalent to the STEAM platform.  UPLAY is not as popular and has different features.  Some like it, many do not, but I really do not mind it and can not see the huge differences.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier Season Pass

Post  AKMARK5000 on Thu Dec 26, 2013 5:21 pm

The STEAM store page description does not quite thoroughly describe what DLCs are included with the season pass... granted all the DLCs were not released at the time the page was written.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Season Pass includes all three DLCs; Arctic Strike, Raven Strike and Khyber Strike.  These cover single player mode, multiplayer mode and of course cooperative mode.

==> http://store.steampowered.com/app/2028055/

So, it kind of wierd set up.  The Season Pass is actually three seperate codes.  So, for each code has to be redeemed through an in-game menu.

1. Open STEAM and click the game's shortcut link in your library.  You are presented with a message box that contains your game code (deluxe or regular) and the DLC codes.  In order to see everything, you might need to re-size the message box by moving the pointer to the right-side edge of the message box until it turns into a double arrow.

Note: At this point, you probably want to take a screen shot or screen capture and pint these codes out (just for ease of reference in the next steps).

2. Simply click the play button.  UPLAY launches and, depending upon your UPLAY preference configuration, you are automatically signed-in. When signed into UPLAY, you start the game by clicking another play button.

3. Once at the games main menu, click "Extras," then "Downloadable Content."  Y have the opportunity to redeem one of the Season Pass DLC codes.

4. After the code is entered and you click "OK," a confirmation message appears and then you click the "OK button and press Enter button in order to return to the main menu.

5. ... and repeat the process for the other codes.

Whenever you re-start the game, you might see a little triangle with exclamation inside of it.  I am not sure why that appears.  I re-entered the codes, nothing happens.  I have been ignoring it and everything seems fine.

GRFS Startup Intro - How to remove?

GRFS Startup Intro - How to remove?

The three videos that make up the starting introduction are located in the video folder. For example;

==> C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier\Video

1) SPL_ESRB_UBI_CLANCY
2) SPL_Intro_Trailer
3) SPL_RSE_Logo_fade

Backup the files... copy them and rename the copies or put the copies somewhere else in case they are needed later. The originals should remain in-tack... cannot erase them or the game will not start... instead, replace them.

Download (XFakeblank SPL Videos) ==> ul.to jljv4hiv
